- Karen E. Todd is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Health & Fitness Specialist with more than 20 years experience in exercise performance and nutritional product development and education. Currently, she is the Director of Marketing for Kyowa Hakko U.S.A and Principal of Optimal Performance & Nutrition where she advises athletes on optimal diets and exercise routines specific to their sport. Karen has developed products in the sports nutrition, weight-loss, cosmetic/skincare and heart-health categories as well as many condition-specific formulations with herbal, amino acids and vitamin/mineral ingredients. Additionally, she has created educational programs for healthcare professionals and consumers, as well as labeling, packaging and advertising components. Currently living in Michigan, Karen is avid multi-sport athlete, and holds Bachelors of Science degrees in Scientific Nutrition and Food Science Technology from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the Huizenga School of Business at Nova Southeastern University.
